Birmingham DFAS supported two internships for Curatorial Studies at the Barber Institute in 2008 and 2009
NADFAS and The West Midlands Area supported two further posts using grants from The Patricia Fay Memorial Fund scheme.
A partnership was thus developed between NADFAS and the Barber Institute.
Katie Hall, one of the interns, attended the Chairmen's meeting in March 2011 and thanked Societies and the Area organisation for the support she had received. The photographs reproduced below were taken at the presentation at the Barber Institute on 5 July 2011.
