Current Activities

There are eleven active Church Recording groups in the Area. During the last 12 months, four records have been presented (by Birmingham, North Powys, Stratford-upon-Avon and Wrekin & Wolverhampton) and two are about to be presented (by Stafford and Royal Leamington Spa).

At a packed service on Sunday 7 November, Revd Richard Aware received and dedicated the NADFAS Church Record of St Nicholas church, Kenilworth. This had been prepared by the members of Royal Leamington Spa Decorative and Fine Arts Society's Church Recording Group. The Church Record was presented to the church by Angela Watkins supported by the volunteer church recorders. The Record had taken 4 years to complete. The Church Record was sponsored by RLSDFAS and by a most generous donation from the family of Philip Alford, a parishioner of St Nicholas, in his memory.
