Many of you will remember the fascinating and informative guided tour of Presteigne given by Mr James.

Paul E Loveluck CBE: 'The Museums and Galleries of Wales'.
President of the Board of Trustees of the National Museum of Wales.

Thursday 25th November : Royal Oak, Welshpool
Charles Hajdamach: 'Facets of Glass'.
Mr Hajdamach is an authority on British Glass and former Director of Dudley Museums and Art Galleries, including Broadfield House, which was visited by the Society in April.

Huw Jenkins: 'Not Just a Pretty Place' (Snowdonia).
Writer and Broadcaster specialising in the environment, wildlife and rural affairs, focusing especially on N Wales and Snowdonia.

Thursday 24th February : Royal Oak, Welshpool
Margaret Worthington: 'Celtic Jewellery, Art, Craft and Manuscripts'.
Archaeologist who has spent many years excavating and studying Offa's Dyke.

Thursday 31st March : Royal Oak, Welshpool
Zara Fleming: 'The Sacred Art of Tibet'.
An art historian specialising in Tibetan and Himalayan art who has travelled extensively in Tibet and its border regions.

Thursday 28th April : Royal Oak, Welshpool
Sally Hoban: 'The Glasgow Girls - Women in Art and Design 1890 - 1920'.
Art, Design and Antiques Consultant specialising in the period covering the Pre-Raphaelites to the middle of the 20thC.

Thursday 26th May : Gregynog Hall, Tregynon
Ted Maidment: 'Rachmaninov'.
A welcome return of the former Head of Shrewsbury School.
A passionate advocate of late Romantic Music, who shares his enthusiasm so well with his audience.
