2008 is the 50th anniversary of Greswold Primary School. In order to celebrate the event the pupils, staff and parents were involved in making a permanent mural depicting the life of the school to date.
The Chairman, Ruth Rendell, and I visited the school whilst the work was in progress and presented a cheque on behalf of Solihull DFAS for £1,755.00 to fund this exciting project. We were delighted to meet the artist who was employed to direct the work and see that the children were involved from the design stage through to execution. The mural is now proudly displayed in the main school hall.
