Federico Gonzaga: Patron and Collector
John Travis came to Stourbridge in 2007 to talk to us about the Medicis. He studied History of Art and Design at the Universities of Manchester and Central England and is an enthusiastic teacher of art to both university students and groups such as NADFAS.

Angela Cox was Head of Education at the National Portrait Gallery from 1970 to 1980 and has lectured widely at museums and galleries including the National, Tate and V&A.

Lois Oliver is Exhibition Curator at the National Gallery. She has worked at the Harvard University Art Museums and at the V&A, is the author of numerous publications and has appeared on a number of television and radio programmes.

Kate Williams, an author and historian with Stourbridge connections, was prevented from coming to us last February owing to sickness. We have been fortunate in being able to rearrange her visit for this year, and look forward to hearing her talk about Queen Victoria.

Fenella Billington Her second visit to our society. She has a Masters degree in Art History from Manchester University and lectures for the University of Liverpool's Continuing Education Department as well as giving talks for art societies, historical associations and charitable institutions.

Songlines: Aboriginal Art From The Australian Desert
Rebecca Hossack was formerly the Australian Cultural Attaché in the UK. For 22 years she has had an art gallery in central London specializing in non-western art. She has lectured both in the UK and abroad and writes regularly in the British press.
The AGM will precede this lecture and will commence at 10.30am.

Michael Howard last came to us in 2005 to talk about Lowry; this time he will talk about two of the Impressionists. He is a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, author of several books, is an artist and exhibitor at the RA as well as a printmaker.
