19 March 2012 : THE WALLACE COLLECTION

This collection was the work of the first four Marquesses of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace in the 17th and 18th centuries. It contains dome of Europe's finest collections of art, furniture, armour and porcelain.

23 April 2012 : THE FRICK COLLECTION

Henry Clay Frick amassed a superb collection of paintings, sculpture, porcelain and enamels and bequeathed them to the City of New York in 1919.

Venue : City of Birmingham Library Theatre
Cost : £23.50 for each day to include coffee on arrival but not lunch

There are facilities to eat packed lunch and several cafes, sandwich bars and restaurants nearby.
The days will sart with coffee at 10.30a.m and finish at about 3.30p.m.
